Lights Out. Sticks Lit.
TOMMY ALDRIDGE
In the new video, Tommy explains what you're actually seeing: the trail left by the tip of the stick as it moves through each fill. Even under the brightest stage lighting, that motion is invisible. Here it's captured as one continuous image, which Tommy calls "an x-ray into the instrument."
For drummers, it's a rare look at the shape of the playing itself: the arc of each tom fill, the path between drums, and the rebound off the cymbals. Five decades of feel, frozen in one frame.
Every canvas was personally examined by Tommy, then hand-signed in metallic paint marker.
